February EP

I've never posted about Bishop Allen before, which surprises me because of the news that came from them last month, but to catch you guys up on whats going on: the band announced last month that they would release an EP every month of 2006, and at the beggining of 2007, release their second full length album. Last month, they only pressed 1000 copies, and you could only buy them off the internet, and it was only 5 bucks, and that included shipping. This month is still just 5 bucks, still only sold off their site, but they pressed 2000, so theres not as big of a rush to get them, but its still pretty limited. The track I've heard from the EP is pretty good. Bishop Allen is one of my favorite indie pop bands around, Charm School is, in my opinion, one of the better indie albums post-2000, its just really, really solid pop music. Well, here is the track off of February called "Vain" and a track off of the January EP, "Corazon".
